| Today was a very pleasant day on the Tennessee River surveying, we had Kevin Hartell along with us, he was a great help and good to work with. The location was beautiful on the river and we saw a lot of wildlife, ducks, blue heron, hawks, turtles, chipmonks, squirls, dogs.... | | |
| Yesterday I auditioned with a Christian Rock Band. They had advertised in the paper looking for a bassist for a "mature" bass player. At least in age I think I fit the bill. It was fun and a challange. They had picked out some difficult pieces to play. I am not sure where it is all leading. TaTa for now

| Today, snow, church canceled, went to silent film festival this afternoon featuring Jobyna Ralston and Tom Mix. Jobyna Ralston was from South Pittsburg and famous in her day. The silent short films were funny but really did not show much of her. The movie of Tom Mix who worked here as a marshall was good. We have an old movie on DVD of South Pittsburg to watch later made in 1954. The little boys are counting out rolls of money, I am concerned for the bank......Now what to spend all those quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennys on. A dollar coin was found and caused quite a stir. | | |
